Earlier this year, we met Rouse Hill member Lawrence Mendoza who had been weight training for 4 years and had a goal to compete in his very first body building competition. He had been dedicating 6 days a week of training with Fit n Fast Personal Trainer Adriane Capuyon to help him prep for the comp.

Lawrence told us that he wanted to compete in a bodybuilding competition so he could prove to people that anything is possible no matter what your circumstance may be, just as long as put your mind to it. Lawrence wanted to inspire people to chase their dreams and goals no matter how big or small.

On the 7th of May Lawrence's goal became a reality and competed at the South Coast championship where he won the wheelchair division and received a standing ovation from the audience! On the 20th of May, he also competed at the International Oceania competition where he again won in the wheelchair division!

Lawrence has said that these aren't his last body building competitions and he will be back in the future.

We're so proud of Lawrence and wish him nothing but the best with his journey!
